Tongue-Tied

Look!  I found some photos that were hiding away in a folder I just peeked in the other day.  :)

Our boys are getting used to each other.

Those of you who know me know that one of my favorite things in the world (well, there are MANY!) are cats with their tongues sticking out.  There's something wonderful about the suave, elegant cat with a tongue out for the world to see.  Stephan is a master of this art.  Almost every time he sleeps, his tongue creeps out. The harder he's sleeping, typically the farther his tongue comes out!

Sometimes it just stays out for fun.

 It's just SO CUTE!!!

The babies are enjoying the new cat stand by the window.  Right outside this window is the bird feeder, so there's always something interesting to sniff!

Ahhhhh . . . napping is great!  Especially when a tiny kitten can take up the whoooole bed!

P.S. Can you see the cat heads in the above quilt, made for us by Greg's Mom?  You can't see it in this picture, but the quilting is done crossing the cats' faces like whiskers - amazing!

Bjarne all tucked in and cutesy:

Claude all tucked in and cutesy (it's been chilly around here - only in the low 70s for highs, and 40s for lows!)

Allistair gets his warmth from sleeping on my laptop.

And Greg & I warmed ourselves by eating tasty slight spicy shepherd's pie!  It's a recently acquired specialty of mine.  For those of you who haven't had it before, shepherd's pie is a thick beef & vegetable stew on the bottom and mashed potatoes on the top, all baked into bubbly yumminess!  I add a bit of chili powder and cayenne pepper when I make it for just us because we like our food a little on the spicy side.

Hope your Thursday is going well!

-Christie
